Who is the Practice manager?

the same as previously although an Operations Manager will ensure that all administration of the Group is co-ordinated

Will the same Health visitor see me?

Yes - we have no plans to change the high quality of care the existing team are delivering.

What about requesting Home visits?

We are commited to maintaining a home visiting service to those customers who are housebound or whose medical condition prevents them from visiting the surgery

Which doctor will I be registered with?

Your Dr will remain the same, infact additional clinical staff may join the practice to enhance the services available to you.

May I request for a female GP?

Initially staff will be the same as have already served you for a number of years. It is our intention to bring in mixed staffing in all our practices over time to meet the demands of our customers.

Can I choose a particular GP?

Yes if you feel more comfortable seeing one particular GP that choice will be yours, however, this may mean that you have to wait slightly longer

Will there be an open surgery?

We are considering our appointment sessions at present , almost certainly one of our clinical team will provde a'drop in ' surgery every day

How quickly will be able to get an appointment normally?

Appointments will be availble on the day, and the drop in surgery will also be open.

Will there be an asthma Clinic?

Clinics for chronic disease management will still be run by the practice. These will be nurse led and conform strictly to best practice national guidelines,- if you're healthy we are happy!

Will there be a BP Clinic?

Will you have a Diabetic Clinic?

What are the surgery hours?

The surgery hours will be the same as they have always been. We will, however work to increase opening hours to 8am-8pm as soon as we can.

What are the week-end hours?

Initially opening hours will be as they always have been. We do envisage the recommencement of Saturday morning surgeries within 6 months of taking over the practice.

What is the procedure for Holiday Jabs, Pre school Jabs, and malaria tablet advice?

A full childhood immunisation programme will be run by the practice. We are strongly commited to providing this to our communities as what may seem to be trivial illnesses such as measles or mumps can actually cause life threatening illness and disability.Travel clinics will be provided by our practice nursing staff.

Will you be able to give me a medical report for My Insurance Company?

Yes we will of course provide full medical screening and reporting services for our customers. These are usually outside the terms of the NHS contract and you may be liable to pay a fee. Full details of which we can provide you with when you book.

Will you be able to confirm my identification paperwork such as passport photos etc?

Yes of course we will be happy to provide this service again a fee may be payable.
